Ugly day
Well the day started great with a huge win over the Alberta team that beat us out for gold last year. We hit the ball a ton and had great defense to get a mercy victory. I pitched the game and Carri played left field. I almost threw the ball out of the park trying to get one player out at first lol.
That win guaranteed us a medal and a win in our next game and we would advance right to the final. We had it in the bag- up 11 runs going into the bottom of the last inning and then....we lost. Yup hard to take that one. A few bad pitches, a few balls that weren't caught, a few mistakes and we were done. I was the losing pitcher and Carri and Cynde had the unfortunate task of watching things implode from the sidelines. We hit really well in that game too but it was just an ugly end to the day. Now we play tomorrow at 1230 and have to win 3 games to get that gold.
