A little slow to get to the blog going due to poor internet connections and poor life choices lol! Who knew we could still pull an all nighter! So much fun here on days one-two. We arrived to gorgeous warm weather and checked into Ballys to begin an awesome night. We got our $250 JLo money (she cancelled her concert and the hotel gave us money for the tickets we had been comped - go figure) and hit the slot floor. After a few wins, plenty of alcohol, pizza for dinner and some awesome dance moves we were surprised to see the sun coming up so we went to McDonalds for breakfast and some of us managed to eat. More slots and a $1000 win for me and coach Cynde we headed home for a short nap- long sun burn at the pool. A great steak dinner at Paris and we have leftover steak, cheesecake and chocolate cake for our Thanksgiving breakfast. Might even a drink of Captain Morgan pumpkin spiced rum today! We are so thankful for this trip! Enjoy your thanksgiving.
It's a golden day
Well we did it! Went undefeated to win the gold medal beating the Subway Sluggers from PEI 11-4 in the final. It was a bit back in forth in the beginning we got out to a 2 zip lead then they scored 3. We were rallying with bases loaded none out and they ended up getting a triple play on a hard liner to left. I was a bit worried when that happened. Next up we loaded the bases again and our pitcher Tania hit a double to score three. We gave up one in the top of the inning and then we loaded the bases again and Rosie hit a double to give us the seven runs needed in the fifth to mercy. She had pitched the win to get us to the gold and is 55 like me so it was sweet. I started the game in right and Cynde took over for me. Marla was in left field and made a couple nice catches. We then took tons of photos and started trading with the other teams while celebrating with a beer in the beer gardens ( well rum and coke for me - yes hard stuff ...

wow well done Rhonda and Cynde!! I'm guessing who didn't eat and I think I'm right...haha! Chocolate cake looks great for breakfast, I'm having pumpkin pie for lunch! Love the blog and hearing about all your choices, poor or not!! Have fun in Utah! Happy Thanksgiving! Love Joan
